Our Services

Makerspace People can scope, build, create, equip, design, staff, plan and manage the development of any makerspace or innovation platform from the ground up. If you want to just get the job done, our complete Operations package is the most comprehensive service we offer and provides a nose-to-tail service covering every aspect of your makerspace so that all you need to worry about is cutting the ribbon. You tell us your vision, and we take care of all the details.

However we understand that sometime you may only need support in a few key areas, and this is why our services options are not ‘one size fits all’. Click on any of the headings below to find out more about the ways we can bring our expertise to specific aspects of your project. We are always happy to tailor our services to meet a client’s requirements.

Our Projects

There are many different motivations for establishing makerspaces, and no two projects are ever the same. Our clients include the government sector (national ministries, state agencies, offset projects, city councils) and private sector (tech companies, property and infrastructure developers, NGOs).

Most typically, a project’s primary focus will fall into one or more of the following categories: Innovation (Entrepreneurship, advanced prototyping, IoT), Education (Universities, STEAM for school goers, vocational college), Enterprise (Corporates, Industry, or SMEs) and Community (libraries, non-profit groups, third space development or civic engagement). Some of the best makerspaces are established as open-access facilities in which all these interest groups can work together and collaborate, but it can be helpful to consider the main audience for your space.

For more examples of the sorts of projects we’ve worked on and to find out more about what we can bring to your area of focus, select one of the descriptions below that best meets your profile. And if you’re not sure what category to chose, don’t worry: many of our projects encompass some or all of these sectors combined.
